Rachel & Vinny
Like Many couples in 2020 they had altered their plans from a larger wedding vision and fell in love with the beauty and simplicity of an intimate wedding, while keeping the focus on their love. From the beginning Rachel and Vinny’s planning for their Martha’s Vineyard elopement was focused on family.
Rachel and her stepdaughter started the day at the salon being pampered with hair and makeup appointments. Vinny was in charge of hanging with the “boys”, his two sons and their younger daughter at their beautiful vacation home. The setting for their ceremony was a Friday afternoon in September at the Edgartown Lighthouse Beach. The family arrived just as that perfect golden hour started, dressed to impress. Rachel was wearing the most gorgeous flowing off the shoulder dress, with the two girls matching. The two boys in fresh white button downs and Vinny adorned a perfect fitting blue suit.
A thousand years by Christina Perri started and their ceremony began. Everyone toasted, adults with champagne and children with sparkling apple cider. The whole family enjoyed dinner in their vacation home and ended the evening with a traditional vanilla wedding cake. The love of family and combining two hearts in marriage keeps us remembering this day time and time again.
